Llama Digital is an award-winning web agency providing website design and a range of internet-related services including: ecommerce, content management, social networking, email marketing, Sage integration, PCI Compliance and web hosting. We are based in central Sheffield, on Arundel Street near Hallam University.

It all started in 2003 when Stephen decided to leave his position at a large London-based agency and go it alone in Sheffield. Llama Digital is now a thriving company with 5 full-time staff and a pool of freelancers to call upon when needed.

Our team is passionate about internet technology. Not just the exciting things that we can play with, but the impact that internet technology can have on businesses. Our goal is to create value for our clients by ensuring they get the most out of the latest technology available - and in doing so help them create a more profitable business.

Award-winning Web Design

We have a strong reputation for the delivery of highly usable and accessible websites. This has been recognised with the award for the Best Information Website at the Yorkshire Internet Awards 2006, for the Red Tape website. We have been shortlisted for the Best Consumer Website at the Yorkshire Internet Awards 2009 for the Mind the Gap website.

Where does the name come from?

We often get asked where the name Llama Digital comes from. The answer could be any or all of the following:

• We like llamas (who doesn't?)
• We wanted something a little different and not too "techie"
• Before setting up Llama Digital Stephen went travelling to South America and told people he was going to be a Llama farmer in Bolivia - a dream which sadly did not become reality.
