Project Information:

Share to Buy is a company providing a new mortgage product, share to buy, aimed at groups of friends who wish to buy property together. It is also suitable for couples, and for people who with to buy property with support from family. The initial mortgage product was developed in partnership with Britannia Building Society.

Llama Digital has designed and built the share to buy website. It features online mortgage calculators and a full, secure, online mortgage application form which supports applications from groups of up to four people. Each applicant has the ability to log-in and complete their own sections of the application separately.

This was one of our earlier projects and it has been a privilege to work with Share to Buy as they have grown their business since early 2004. They are now getting a lot of media attention and regular feature in the national press. The site has undergone several extensions and revisions to keep up with the growth of the business.

Additionally, an online management system has been developed to allow Share to Buy to fully control the processing of applications and to track them as they proceed to completion.

We have designed a monthly email newsletter, and manage the process of maintaining the subscriber list and sending out the emails.

We have also carried out extensive search engine work – which has resulted in extremely good performance for many of their key target phrases. The following terms all yield very high results: “joint mortgages”, “shared mortgages”, “share to buy”, “joint ownership”.
